Vasid Ali completed his optometry education from Era University & Himalayan university. And he has done his training in Ocular Prosthetic Eye and Facial prosthesis from Mehra Ocular Prosthetic at Mumbai. He has also done his training in artificial eye and clinical prosthetic Contact lenses from Gandhi Eye Institute.Which is India's 1st artificial eye centre in india. Has also been trained by a very highly experienced ocularist of Mumbai at Mehra Ocular Prosthetic. His clinical interests include ocular prosthesis, particularly in thin shell patients.

We have been visiting this clinic from last year...the doctor respond properly and make us wait for more than 4 hours. the appointment time they give and us inside the cabin some other time.
Custom made eyes are more comfortable and have better resemblance to the other eye apart from the advantage of continuous wear and better motility of the prosthesis. Whereas the ready-made eye suffers from discharge, discomfort, poor matching, less movement, restricted wearing period.
"Stock" or "ready-made "eyes are mass-produced. Since a "stock eye" is not made for any particular person, it doesn't fit and match any particular patient. A custom ocular prosthesis, on the other hand, is made by Ocularist to fit and match particular patient.
